Noobz0r created the Stacked Six too. Really well deserved.

The only correction to make on it is he won his first at the Rats in S18 but a minor quibble, it's nice to see veterans return to this side.

Half backs

Half-backs:

The run-and carry of the team, the half-back line had a number of contenders, and was the most contentious position to fill. This season, the half-back line is entirely populated by debutants, but none could be considered to be controversial selections.

tony – Debut

The Las Vegas rookie tony has had a terrific start to his qooty career, making the All-SFA team in his first season. With the highest DT average of the nominated defenders, and a solid posting performance, tony has slotted in as a half-back flanker, with the onus on the rookie to further step up in his sophomore season.

MWPP – Debut

It has been a meteoric rise for Bears leader MWPP, taking over the reins from Test Tickle and immediately making an impression on Committee with her straightforward approach. Beyond this, her leadership of the Bears in match threads and around the board has been brilliant, averaging over 70 posts, and was the majority selection at CHB for the S30 All-SFA team.

serial_thrilla – Debut

The S29 EKA medallist serial_thrilla is one of the brightest starts on the Sweet horizon. One of the most prolific media performers of S30, thrilla might have missed out on a midfield spot to better sim performers, but was a popular choice among Committee in a variety of positions, and a spot had to be found for him at half back.

Centres

Centres:

The engine room, where all the stats hogs lurk. The players named in these positions are the best possession gatherers in the league, and it is no surprise that their posting is usually of the highest quality as well. These are the best of the best, your All-SFA centreline for S30

Tonga Bob – 2nd Selection

Two seasons, two caps. It is testament to the quality of Tonga Bob that he has backed up his sterling rookie season with a move into the midfield in the S30 All-SFA team. Bob had the highest Exie average of any nominated player at 99.8. He led the comp in marks for the season, and had more disposals than any other nominated player. On top of this, he has stepped up to be one of the leading match thread posters in the game, and seems a sure bet to take over from TheInjuryFactory as captain of the Warriors some day.

Agent93 - 5th Selection

A fifth consecutive All-SFA cap for the Hawks’ skipper is a mighty achievement – only 8 other players have achieved this feat. Twice All-SFA captain, in S27 and 29, Agent93 can now be regarded as one of the greats of the game, and he earns this honour this season with 302 disposals at an Exie average of 87. Still a consistent and prolific contributor in match threads, the storied Hawks have been lucky to have a foundation to base their future around.

SweetD – Debut

The return of SweetD to the SFA has proven to be a remarkable success. Originally nominated as a utility, SweetD was considered a midfielder with his club’s permission, after it was discovered that all his games were played on the centreline, but his numbers could not be denied. His 339 disposals were 3rd overall and he was also 3rd for marks in S30. A solid posting average of 40 was enough to see him named in 8 of the 12 teams, most commonly on a wing, and that is where he earns his first All-SFA cap.

I like this no-nonsense approach to the All-SFA release

It's an outgoing admin tradition.

I think I did my last All-SFA in a group text to the league.

Half forwards

Half-forwards:

A couple of overflow midfielders were forced out to the starvation flanks, but it was a rough criteria that they would have played at least some of the season forward and had good posting contributions. There were 14 forwards nominated this season, with at least 4 spots in the team reserved for specialist goalkickers, and they were relatively easy to fill. First up, the half-forwards – a line that provides the link between defence and goals

Marlowe - 5th Selection

It has been a long break between caps for royals legend Marlowe. After 4 consective selections from S18, the former Royals skipper and beez winner was assumed to be enjoying retirement in the Caribbean, before a surprise return in S29, and he has returned to his best in S30. Playing as a follower in the ladder-topping Gold City team, he amassed 292 disposals and 83 tackles, to be ranked amongst the top fancies for the Mobbenfuhrer Medal, and has demonstrated his beez-winning quality posting style as well. His fifth All-SFA cap is well-earned, with 9 Committee members selecting him, the majority of those on the HFF.

CakeEater – Debut

A selection that has been a long time coming but undeniable in this season where centre half-forwards were ranked on different criteria than goalscoring prowess. CakeEater has been thereabouts for several seasons, and recorded the most disposals and tackles of any nominated forward, and was a prolific mark as well. Always a reliable poster, CakeEater has been overshadowed by some of the bigger personalities at the Royals in the past but can now hold his head high, as 8 of the 12 teams named him in the pivotal CHF post.

Kilroy – Debut

It has been a big season for the rookie class of S30, and the second member of this seasons crop to make the final cut in the All-SFA team is Kilroy, from the Bombers. A remarkable posting performance of over 150 posts per week was a little off-putting, but Killer backed this up with some fantastic performances on the Bombers’ half-forward line, and 5 of his 7 Committee nominations came oon the HFF, which is where he places his first All-SFA cap. The onus is now on him to develop, and become a key member of the league for many seasons to come.

The Trump effect would be a fitting name for this tradition

Forwards
1607332802131.png
Forwards:

It was a big season for forwards. Some of the biggest names in the league were vying for the Fred Medal, and there were some astounding individual performances at times. I present to you, the full-forward line, with the three most dangerous and deserving goalkickers of S30 waiting to pounce on any opportunity.

1607332859224.png
Rodney Dangerfield – Debut

It is almost implausible that this is the debut of Rodney Dangerfield in the All-SFA team. It feels like he has been a prominent force in the league for 10 seasons or so, yet he always “got no respect”. Perhaps he talked himself down too much; perhaps his performances didn’t warrant nomination previously. But S30 saw a breakout season at full-forward for the Gumbies, where he booted 64 goals from 101 kicks, and it is truly a pleasure to hand over this cap in the forward pocket, where he was named by 8 members of Committee.

The Filth Wizard - 13th selection

You cannot keep a good man out of the action, and league GOAT The Filth Wizard is this season’s Fred Medallist, usually an automatic inclusion in the All-SFA team. And it is impossible to deny that this first individual league honour is well and truly overdue – Lord knows, he has tried many times to get his filthy mitts on a Mobbs Medal or Fred Medal badge, only to come up short. TFW booted 71 goals from 101 kicks, and was named in 11 of the Committee’s teams at full-forward, and was probably intended to be named in the other, except that the skipper typed TheInjuryFactory instead…Anyway, this extends The Filth Wizard’s record to 13 caps, a mark that I am comfortable in saying will never be bettered.

Metalcrusher Debut

Campaignery Bomber Metalcrusher can celebrate his first All-SFA cap in the forward pocket, after 66 goals and a podium finish in the Fred Medal. Despite certain reservations about the quality of some of his posting, he has undoubtedly been an enthusiastic contributor to the league in S30, and looks at home in Baghdad. A loose cannon in the image of Jacko, it is always entertaining when Crushy enters the arena, and he was named in the majority of teams as a forward pocket.

The S29 EKA medalist steals the HBF spot from the S28 EKA medalist. It's kinda appropriate. :)

You're not even a HBFer?! Ol Tronny will be extra pissy. This goes beyond the EKA now.
