Thank you too all the knobs in caravans on their way to their self "entitled" holiday.
Cheers.
Nations health workers.
Heap of truckies ringing 3aw telling of the high volume of caravans, packed 4 wheel drives etc on the road.
Amazing people can be so selfish and stupid.

NSW has double demerit points for Easter, the government here should have doubled the fines just for the four days.

To my untrained eye, there's been a noticeable increase in traffic volume in the part of Melbourne that I live in the last 5 to 6 days.

They should actually late Sunday and all day Monday set up like they do with booze buses to all the main highways heading into the coastal areas and fine them all coming back into Melbourne etc

Be geat if they did.
Not sure why the average person think they're above the law.

Lol How many times is Dan Andrews going to say stage 4 Restrictions may still come , just stfu mate we already know after the 15 th time you said it last week .
There are 422 known cases of covid 19 in Victoria atm. Stage 4 seems over the top. Maybe when winter hits might be an option?

Pete Evans is flogging this "bio charger" for 15 grand a pop. It looks like a blender with multi coloured Led lights inside it.

He’s only doing that to KEEP people acting appropriately. All this flattening talk and so on ... you just know as a community we’re at risk of becoming complacent and that if we do, we could quickly go into reverse. A bit over a week ago I saw a dramatic improvement in social behaviour, isolating etc. Last 4 or 5 days we’ve relaxed off. Big time.

Check out Singapore this last week.

He'll say it more often now as there will be idiots who see that we're only getting 20-30 new cases a day and think it means that they can start doing things as they normally would.

So by keeping the threat out there that things could become harsher it will remind people to stay home unless necessary.

Unfortunately this weekend has seen a heap of people heading down the coast to their holiday homes for the Easter break, which while it is allowed under the restrictions, just puts extra risk on those communities which have so far been spared any major outbreaks.

All it takes is a couple of asymptomatic people to go down there and start spreading the virus around and we'll face another surge in cases. Much like Singapore and Japan are now having after relaxing their restrictions after the initial flattening of the curve.

I noticed that yesterday, increased in traffic. No surprise, some people decided to go away
As soon as people start seeing the reduced number of new cases, they think we're in the clear so start going out more. Yesterday at lunch my local shopping centre looked like it was stocktake sales time. Car park was full, the line for McDonalds was like the Monash at peak hour. I get the shops are all shut today so it was probably a lot of people getting their last minute shopping done, which was stupid as the shops are only closed for 24 hours.
