Cheers. For a team like the Lions, would he add any value or is he more likely to sit on the list for 3 years and play 6-7 unremarkable games per year before getting delisted? He'd have to nominate for the draft.
He won't have the right to pick and choose.
As it is, Hawthorn helped him out, by publicly stating 'he won't be offered a contract', which I don't believe was the case
If he refuses an offer, he is not a DFA
If we don't make an offer, he is.
What would he be then?
He's a poor mans lewis taylor and soft, I'd honestly be surprised if he got picked up.Cheers. For a team like the Lions, would he add any value or is he more likely to sit on the list for 3 years and play 6-7 unremarkable games per year before getting delisted?
I doubt if Stewart or Hartung would get a game for us in 2018 so best that they get a chance elsewhere if they are picked up. I suspect Hartung's speed will be more than adequately covered by Impey and I would prefer to see guys like Glass and Hanrahan get their chance ahead of Hartung.
Willsmore will play out his contract at Box Hill and then move on.
