Multiplat Titanfall 2

Only played the first three missions so far but the campaign has been a tonne of fun so far. It's done a really good job of translating what I loved about TF1 - mobility and verticality - into a SP campaign.

Bought the game on Sunday and am having a lot of fun with it, but it's concerning that you can't find any games on quite of the few game modes on MP despite it been such a new release (I've only managed to find games on Bounty Hunt, Attrition & Hardpoint on Xbone). Hopefully it improves, but I don't know if Respawn have done themselves a disservice by releasing the game between Battlefield and COD.

Part of the problem is that people like me are taking too long to finish the campaign

Finally finished the campaign this morning and it really was fantastic. I really enjoyed that. Played a couple of quick games of attrition straight after. and I'm still not great but playing the campaign on a high difficulty did help

Got a new rig (Yay! Back in the PC Master Race!) had BF1 on XBone so thought I would give Titanfall 2 a go. Really liking the game but of course old man reaction times mean I suck in multiplayer. Any advice for the slower reflexed among us to improve survivability?

Couple of little tips:

Shoot first and then aim, those first couple of hip fire shots can make a big difference.
Don't feel the need to constantly be sprinting, although it'll make you a harder target, it means you do need quicker reaction time to kill someone else.
Help your team out by taking down titans, they are pretty easy to aim at.
If playing an objective game like domination then don't be afraid to camp on some objective points to defend them. It's a legitimate strategy that'll help your team. Just move from point to point after each kill, otherwise they'll know where you are.

Best thing though, learn the map.
Learn the routes players generally take, all exit/entry points to buildings, any secret tunnels, any areas of the map that are easy to traverse to get you from one point to the other quickest.

Also don't walk up the middle of the map (or at least try to avoid it), stick to the edges as best you can, and try to keep next to a wall, that means you reduce the angles you can get shot from.

At least once a game I think I will just cut across the middle to get to something. I invariably get killed instantly.

Also I cant really figure out the map with the giant canyon parts. I have no idea how to play it
