Bit of both possibly.
It's not a bad thing if we're getting rid of some bad eggs, but we'll want to nail the drafts.
EDIT: Tom Bell, however, never seems to be a problem effort-wise. He gives his all on the field.

Agreed he has had a great year improved a fair bit
"Bad Eggs" that will proceed to thrive in another environment within the AFL.
It was such good move getting rid of Betts, Garlett, Robbo and Laidler as they were seen as disruptive to the culture we want to build. How's that working out?
Tom Bell is no star but he is perfect to have during a rebuild. Big bodied to protect the kids and give Cripps a hand, sneak down forward to kick a few goals, and is a good character. Yeah nah let's push him out the door.
Something stinks at the club at the moment.
Wouldn't surprise me reckon Silvangi want's to get as many pick as he can but yeah Blues should keep Bell.
Definitely believe this one. Bell is a Queenslander and grew up in Brisbane so obviously that's a factor. If you watch this video you'll see Tom reveals he idolised Leppitsch growing up and says Leppa is actually a close family friend.
I suppose Bell may be involved in an Aish trade if it turns out that Aish nominates Carlton.

Would be interesting what Carlton would expect from us. Remembering we'll need at least 3 picks to get Keays and Hipwood probably. And its not like we're desperate for what Bell can provide us, good chance he'd just be depth.

surprising, from what i have seen bell is a shocking kick correct?
He barely walks into ours, even with our problems.
It's more his decisions.
Burns at least 4 team mates a game either shooting for goal when he has guys free, or kicking when he should handball.
Hard to stop and a new team might be able to find the right spot for him.

Still has a year to go on his contract so any move would be on the club's terms. Maybe Bell and 2nd for Aish? Although it seems Aish has a preference for Collingwood...
