Hello Tiger fans!

The embedded resources below are kept up to date by the trade board mods (as much as possible – we are human after all). Enjoy!

tugga you may like to sticky or merge this post, move it to the start of the thread (so the sticky post doesn't rotate if a post is deleted before it), or copy it to your draft thread.

To those saying we run a tight ship in terms of no leaks to media, have very short memories.
Media informed us on so much of the Taranto and Hopper dealings last year. If clubs have anything in the pipeline trade wise, it gets leaked by the club because that's how it works.
Clubs can't outwardly talk about trades but names get leaked to the media to appease fans.

If we aren't hearing about anyone, then that normally means we will be quiet.
Don't hold the club in such high regard. Every club leaks, it's part of the business.

Always ask Cui Bono when it comes to leaks.

Often an agent will leak about a team being involved as it may boost the appeal/ contract offer of other teams.

The team the player originates from may leak to set the expectations for the fan base that a player will move on.

In fact, Mitch Cleary stated a few days ago that it was rival clubs’ view that the Harry McKay deal would be worth. Rival clubs also try to get the inside scoop as it helps them plan their own off seasons.

Don’t assume that it is about Richmond it comes from Richmond. Take the coaching process, we know very little about that which is reflective of how little the club leaks.

Clubs leak what they want to leak as it controls the narrative.

i wonder if the Bulldogs VFL HF Buku Kharmis with 4 goals so far in todays final would be a better prospect than Koschitzke, certainly looks more lively and threatening up forward ?? Appears to be cat. B rookie picked up via their acadamy but undersized at this stage

Saw an article headline the other day questioning how we could have let Kingsley go?? the fact Dimma was contracted for another 2yrs, I guess that doesnt count.
Dickhead journo’s should be putting that question to Dimma.

Only way Kingsley doesn’t leave is if Dimma quits in 2022. How are we or Kingsley to know there is a vacancy in 2023.

AFL journos are only trolling or just writing any ill-considered space filler half the time. We probably shouldn’t read it or respond to it.

Nah that’s exactly what the article was about, it was criticising Dimma, not Richmond. Said that as Dimma mentioned, this year would probably have been his last, then why did he not let the club know and we could’ve organised a succession plan.

Soldo would not get 30 - he would be a 3rd rounder. Nank was a 3rd & i don;t think anyone is seeing Soldo as their "missing piece"

Graham is probably the same. Broad, maybe a mid-late 2nd - might require us to throw a later pick back as well.

The only way we get pick 4 off them is if we trade Dusty and allow them to either cap dump on us to fit his contract, OR, we literally just pay his entire contract for them.
IN: 2020 Pick No.31

OUT: Braydon Preuss

ST KILDA and Geelong have finalised a trade sending tall forward Rhys Stanley and pick No.60 to the Cats in exchange for pick No.21 in the upcoming NAB AFL Draft.

Clubs pay for Ruckman that are AFL level
Nank was an unknown Ruckman with just 12 limited games

Why? If we could get taranto and Hopper we could've got taranto and cerra
If we had of landed Cerra, it's unlikely we'd have then gone after Taranto as we'd have felt we addressed the midfield needs. Also given we would have traded away pick 9 to get Cerra, it's quite possible we would have then taken 12 & 19 to the draft to continue to add young talent.

If my Aunty had balls she would be my uncle.

More so focused on what’s next than what if.

This is my only issue with Hardwick leaving. We've missed out on a top notch coach and left with fairly underwhelming options.

You think Allen would've stayed being 3rd fiddle for 4yrs?
Doubt it.
That’s exactly what he was at West Coast, still played.

You’d always find a spot for that talent.

Reckon it’s player agents mostly. Not just that player’s rep. Agents on all sides know what’s happening.

He did let the club know.

In Dimma’s press conference when he quit, Gale said he knew Dimma was struggling and wasn’t surprised he quit.
