Rogers would be a very good choice. As would Warne if it got him off TV.

I read someone else that McDonald was reluctant to take on a job for the whole Australian summer because it would disrupt his job at Leicestershire

Looks like he might have been waiting until Leicestershire's season was effectively over before announcing it. He's also leaving his job at Leicestershire.

I can't find the article anymore but I can remember reading something where Jason Gillespie said that twenty20 cricket actually wasn't that ideal for bringing back injured quicks.
