Sad thing is I almost would've taken 3/49 assuming it meant McSweeney and Carey were still in. Carder is a walking wicket, Hunt a 1 in 5 innings sorta guy and Lehmann another walking wicket.
They managed to score 8 more runs this innings than last. Might be the difference haha

Last year 180 runs @ 15.00. 1 score of 50 in 12 innings.
And yet we try him again. 8 innings for 112 runs, 14.00 average, top score 37.
That is 10 matches, 20 innings, 292 runs @ 14.60.
ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We have real problems with batting in Australian cricket right now, just look at what happened in Sydney today. Pathetic.
Unless they are playing hit & giggle, they have no idea what they are doing.
Can't blame what happened in Sydney on the lack of ability. 17/86 over about 30 overs, no batsman was doing anything on that.

Need early wickets tomorrow. The ball still being relatively new will be important, if we can get another couple early it'll put a lot of pressure on whoever is left of McSweeney, Carey and JFM to bat deep.

Once the ball stops swinging I think we just need to play boring cricket, dot it up on a 4th stump line, make them create from there.

These two umpires need to get sacked. Not even local standard.

Aside from JFM their many howlers have favoured the home side. One of them also can’t count to six.

At times this match could have got very ugly. Kudos to Sutherland and Rogers for keeping our blokes calm. Happily Lehmann failed dismally after his backyard cricket ‘catch’.

As it stands a few Vic lads may be charged with dissent.

Neither ump should stand in first class cricket again.
