Essendon lose to rubbish sides and occasionally beat a good side having an off day.

Lol MOTY is voted for by the fans.Gil has been actively promoting Essendon for some time, to try to cover that stigma associated with their disgraceful drug taking culture.
He handed the MOTY and Rising Star awards to them, even though players from other clubs were far more deserving of the awards.
'The Pharmacist' apparently received a please explain email from Gil the other day, stating 'if we are going to bend over backwards to help clean up the public's opinion of you and your rabble club, please do at least try to be competitive in games'.
Expect the Herald Sun, the AFL's media arm, to print a lot of headlines like, 'Brave Essendon in Narrow Defeat', yet, in the game, the Cats would have smacked on 10 goals in the last quarter to win by 89 points.

Essendon don’t need promotions mate, especially from Gil. We are already in everyones head, especially yours. Go donsGil has been actively promoting Essendon for some time, to try to cover that stigma associated with their disgraceful drug taking culture.

Don't rubbish your own team mate, that's what we're here forDefinitely Melbourne

If glamour means high scoring with no substance it will be Essendon.
They'll beat up on rubbish teams and lose to quality teams because they have zero grunt in their midfield.
It certainly won't be the Dees, who were the second best contested team in 2017.

#head*edThe rising star comment LOL

Yeah, nah.Biased here but could be WCE.
Typically high scoring with a great forward line that could become something else if Ryan and/or Rioli light it up.
New look mid field isnt the best mid field going around but looks to be quite solid and definitely more dynamic than last year. Backline is one of the best and if Jetta has a big season of HBF then there will be some immpressive displays of rebound defence to compliment the huge intercept marking power already there.
They only just snuck into the final 8 last year by smacking the grand finalists then turned on the game of the finals with Port so might be an improver against the odds this year.
Melbourne and Essendon are my other picks.
