You might want to check a source more informed that the 'WA chipontheshoulder weekly'.
They don't (in practical terms, cannot) calculate where the GST is raised because companies that operate in multiple states don't provide breakdown by state.
I know...thus my point about how you get subsidies in other ways too.

Clearly to just reference the Grants Commission is flawed as is your interpretation of the GST in the current discussion. Its not about population & GST is identified by State although you dont accept it, go figure.
