Just about to upload my photos onto my Picasa album, I'll post a link to my facebook http://www.facebook.com/BendigoBankersPhotos and will post the google link later today.
1) Mitch Brown - made the switch down back throughout the season and has been a revelation. Reads the play exceptionally...

Trust me.. I was afew metres in front of him taking the photos.. they were no flukes. He has an uncanny goal sense. Showed a LOT preseason. And could do a lot worse than drafting him onto the rookie list (Sully will be a NDS ... hopefully for us)
I'll watch the replay back this week and report from that. I'm finding it harder to comment on the game due to my increased work with the camera at these grounds. Hopefully by tomorrow when the stats go up, I'll have a write up with the DT points

Sully has played his maximum of 2 finals as 23rd man so would have to play ahead of McLean/ Gillies/ Bathie if he were to play.
Holden was freakish and will be amazing to see what his speed and nous can do on the Etihad surface.
Fantastic work as always Dave. Great work with the Josh and Big O...
More I've seen of Sully this year, I think he is definitely worthy of a rookie spot at the very least, although we may be forced to show our hand in the national draft.
Sully and Bathie for future years would be a strong duo
I haven't written reviews the last two weeks as I'm assuming with the games on TV, there are many better judges than me.
Gotta say though.. Matthew Sully, George Burbury and Ryan Bathie will all be on AFL lists next year.. gotta hope it is with the hoops.
The amazing photographer Dave Savell has...
Hey, sorry. a bit late this week. For those who don't know, I've stepped up my volunteer photography for sports clubs this year.. as a result, I've worked something like 39 of 42 days and so use my online time as a bit of an unwind at the moment. Plus I'm still trying to find a balance as...
Great contest (except for the second quarter). Great seeing Knights run down to the bench during the second quarter to talk to the players one on one when they went off the ground in face of an 8 goal to 1 second quarter. At half time he addressed the players for over a minute, telling them to...
Quick notes.. as I highlighted on my @VFLCatsPhotos account, Dawson Simpson was out with the back injury that has hampered his last month of football.. Murdoch was rested possibly in preparation for Perth. Rough condition for players although the ground held up well. Umpiring was dreadful, first...
Cheers. I wrote Selwoods first as captain, must have forgotten to include when i copied. hard as it comes, head over the ball, great composure and a great link player. has taken over the in and under role we were trying for simpkin at the start of the year and is almost a clone of joel with how...
To say Mark doesn't give a sh*t is a joke.. watch him at training, watch him in the game.. he's extremely dedicated and wants to succeed. People said the same about Bathie when he came to the club, now he's in line for a 2013 debut. Give the kid some time, he gets 3 yrs as an outside rookie...

1) Brown. Natural replacement for Scarlett. Reads the play well, using his body well and has fantastic skills by foot. Entrusted with the kick ins and doesn't let the team down.
6) McCarthy. Getting back to his best. Very busy up...
Agree PO.. that side is missing Corrigan, Condy, Maas, Raidme, Shannahan, Holden and Capra who ALL look capable at VFL level. Herbison, Bell-Warren and Heater Brown haven't even debutted yet but all 3 can play! The strongest VFL list we've had since maybe 2002
That's poor form by Bluey.. Mitch's body is the way it is because he can't do upper body strength.. he couldn't do that last year given he dislocated his shoulder. If you break your leg, you don't spend the next 6 months on a bike :/
Mitch Brown is one of the best kicks at the club, but needs a full preseason to have the body to hold down a key position. The game down back is working for him, but Walker is the future up forward. Crashes the packs beautifully and flies too well to be down back. I think he's freed up Hawkins...
M.Brown (Def): 22disp, 10mks.. 95pts. Impressive game across half back. Provided plenty of rebound from defense with his impressive kicking.
L.McCarthy (For): 18disp, 7tcks.. 73pts. Wasn't as prominant with his disposals than other weeks, but added a lot of forward pressure to the contest...
Lol! not at all.. I've just been working casual for the last 4 months.. so back into full time means I won't have the same time as I use to.. that's my point :)
Sorry for the delay, I've had a job interview and a return to F/T work to take into account this week..
I'll write one up tomorrow at work and have it posted tomorrow night.
Great get.. may come in at the expense of a ruck given the weather. Will play CHF to free up Hawkins to the goal square and had 9 hit outs in the ruck against Broc McCauley on the weekend.
Photos up at the usual place. Thought Bews, Gillies and Bathie didn't have the greatest games. Walker, Burbs and McLean all look capable of AFL next season. Photos are up at the usual place.
Some thoughts on the players..
1) Brown .. looks good down back. Reads the play well and uses his body smartly. Plays a floating role to allow his disposal to be used on the attack.
15) Schroder.. good game. Very busy in the conditions and always looked dangerous up forward. Showed good hands...
