Yes the system is a complete farce and that is why Pies are in no hurry to get it done knowing Aish/Pickering have made their intentions clear he will agree to play nowhere else.

7.30am - Treloar arrives to Magpie HQ with Pickers and escorted to Eddie's office, by McChins smoking hot ex-model PA (who gives AT the wink-n-sexy smile routine).

7.35am - AT and Pickers sitting in Eddie's office deliberately left by themselves to look around. Pickers points out the photos of Eddie and Obama, Eddie and the old Hi-5 band members and of course, the photo of Eddie and the Rock strategically positioned on his desk facing AT's chair.

7.40am - Eddie enters with James Packer in tow, gives AT a firm handshake and Pickers a bro-hug, then sits on the front of his enormous mahogany desk to get proceedings underway.

EM - "So Adam, Liam tells me your keen on returning home and would like to play in front of 90,000 a week?"
AT - "Ahh yeah.."
EM - "Well Adam my friend, you've certainly come to the right place"

This reminds me of the argument that was put to the High Court where the applicant argued that all computers are spitting out wrong information because they are based on 0s and 1s. The applicant argued that 0 wasn't nothing (like it was assumed), because if you multiply 1 by 0 you've still got the 1 you started with.

He lost! I think the High Court saw through his logic by saying: "yes but if you start with 0 and multiply it by 1 you've still got zero.
