Good win but I felt that we played fairly poorly and never at any stage got our running game going. Sloane was epic, the spiritual leader of our club. Port did a very good job of dragging us down to their level, so you have to give them their due. Jenkins is needed with gov out for at least a month. We are lacking pace in the backline and Cheney and Doedee need to come in for Kelly and Otten imo.

Disagree, otten playing fwd and ruck. He looks slow but did well. Kelly was solid.

• Ryder and Knight have a head clash? Ryder then kinda shoves and hits knight to the ground? What? Why? Pretty much the free + goal is enough penalty. Strange.
• Smithers jumps on Gray? Not sure if Gray was smart and just went weak at the knees and had Smithers fall on him or if Smitihers lined him up and drove him down intentionally once the game was won?

Port forwards diving all night. Wingard and gray in particular

Throw in Boaks late hit and 50, Ryder's hit and free and Dixons early brain farts and you could argue that their lack of discipline almost cost them.
Ryder's will almost definitely cost them next week.
