The first one is all about pregnancy, the second one is about early parenthood and how it impacts on a marriage. It's hilarious because it's relatable...if you're not parents yet it might put you off kids.

at the start of the year I book in a bunch of long weekends so that it's locked in, getting in early guarantees the time, leaving it late might mean others got in first

I've put in for leave from the 25th of December to the 6th of January. Working at Woolworths, they don't generally allow time off around Christmas (or Easter), but they granted me time off for a similar period last year, so I'm hoping I'll get lucky again this year.

I took the 28th and 29th off to make a 5 day weekend. Always got to book it around public holidays.

I got the plumber to fix the piping as the tree roots has busted it. The plumber cut concrete, new piping, removed the roots, removed any blockings for $1100 and reconcrete. Whilst other plumbers were charging $2000 and one had the nerve to charge $3k as it was a large job.
