Imo, Plan B is a myth thrown around on bigfooty by supporters when their team has a string of loses. Every supporter whose team is playing s**t thinks their coach has no plan b.

Coaches change up s**t all the time, usually small things (Don't want to make drastic changes on game day). Even when they dont work, it's still changing things up.

People claim that Dimma has no plan B and can't improvise on the day. Vlastuin forward in the QF and Graham to Slone in the GF were pretty good game-day moves.

Dimma has had one glaring weakness his whole time coaching us he refuses to tag the oppositions most damaging player and time after time it costs us and they carve us up

Sideass
Whitfield

They both did as they pleased

Will be one of the toughest weeks the club has had since the dark days of 2010.

No Rance, Riewoldt, Cotchin, Houli, Martin, Grigg, Short.

we offically have #tigeshaveinjuries

Also in regards to Dusty he needs a couple of weeks off he hasnt been right since round 1 head wise.

Concern ... our midfield next week, wheres the leadership going to come from? We will have a very young and raw midfield and we need to plays those kids like Ross and Naish, its the only way we will build midfield depth.

Backline Grimes comesback but no Short ??

A few guys get to keep their spot luckily for them now, do we drop Balta and give Moore a go now that Grimes comes back?

Interesting month ahead for our club but so be it

On the positive ... Tom Lynch, so happy we have him and now matter how much Collingwood fans were bleating in the preseason but tonight showed they really needed someone like Tom against West Coast.

The last 10 mins of the 3rd quarter was the first time this year Richmond showed their 17/18 intensity levels. Went missing in the last but that level is their only hope of gaining anything out of this season.
We completely dominated them for at least 10 minutes, I thought we were going to run over them.

But we couldnt capitalise.

We are so wasteful with the ball and turn it over too easily and our goal conversion is horrendous.

As bad as we played they only had 3 more inside 50's and 4 more scoring shots.

Kicking so many points kills momentum, and it doesn't help when our opposition are kicking goals out of their arse as well.

There'll be about 5 changes next week.

Our goal kicking has been bad for a while now,the running goals,Lynch does not miss from a set shot, gun, and still hasn’t warmed up.

Will kick a bag soon.

Time to reward vfl form and put a line through some names

It’s time to get a look at ross/egg/bolton/moore/baker/aarts

Last roll of the dice for
Menadue

Stamped to never play again

Great. He'll kick 8 and we'll only lose by 4 goals.

Lynch is going to be very good
Aside from the quality of the outs, it’s also mostly the senior players with calmer heads... Rance, riewoldt, Houli, Grigg, grimes, caddy. They provide leadership around the ground that was sorely missed, and will be worse if cotchin misses. The reality is our role players are being asked to step into key roles in our system, and they are not good enough to be more than role players (see: castagna, butler, etc). Add to that half the list seems out of form this year

Wow....the beginning of this season has been a bit of a disaster!
This season has started like 2016.
Imo not a big deal if we have a down year because of injuries.
We can bounce back next year quickly and we will have the advantage of getting 20 games into the kids.
Hopefully Ross, CCJ and Naish come in soon
we should still be ok for the year i reckon. these next 3 weeks will be crucial though with the dees, swans and power away with most of our leaders out. 2/3 is a must and would be a good result, load up by round 9 or 10 and get back to full strength (bar rance) and then have a big second half of the year.

Guys it wasn't that bad. It sucks to lose but don't let the ******* commentators convince you otherwise. I know they were jizzing all over GWS but at the start of the last quarter we were approx equal scoring shots with more contested possessions. We were down to 21 after 5 minutes on a 30 degree day. Then Rioli took that massive hit from that sniper campaigner Tomlinson and Cotchin went down. We also had a first gamer. That basically means we started the last Q with 18 fit players.

I know the scoreboard says otherwise but that was far more positive than the week before. And we were missing more players during the match with even more senior guys missing.

Seriously that fat campaigner Dumstal and co were creaming it from the first bounce over them and we were in the match until we basically ran out of troops. Even if we had Grimes playing we probably win because that dud can't play his grandfinal and kick 5 goals.

Not to say we aren't basically ****ed for the rest of the year now with even more injuries but I wouldn't be too upset about that. We beat the plastics when it counted anyway. They can enjoy their s**t wins in front of their 5k supporters whilst we beat them when it counts.

Prestia and lambert were our best players friend
He drafted rance, Jack, Cotchin, Martin, Edwards, Ashbury, grimes. Who has the current recruiting team drafted, rioli and Higgins?

I bet you weren't saying the season thing a few years ago.

We focused on key position players after he left. Last season we focused on putting depth through the midfield.

We were never going to solve depth issues and draft for the future over night, that takes time.

Who has the current team drafted, can only think of rioli and Higgins. Jackson got us rance reiwoldt astbury grimes Edwards cotchin martin. That's easily 7 of our top 10 players if not the top 7.

THe current team has been in for what? 2 years?

You are basically comparing kids to experienced players. Of course they are going to be better.

He has been there for 2 drafts Friend. Not sure what you actually expected. 9 superstars overnight?

And whose fault is it that our depth is s**t. Certainly not Jackson's, he recruited all our best players.

Maybe it wasn't Jackson that was the problem, it was coach and conditioning, which is o my evident after a few years.
