It is painful.

I suspect we will.

We'd trade him if someone offered something good for him. He's not flying and untradeable, he is playing micky mouse matches split 50/50 forward and defense and even when he did play he didn't kick a goal.

I agree on your best case and worst case.

no one is giving up anything good for him. Bit of baggage.
Not untradeable, but Freo aren’t going to let him go for nothing. No point.

The Brisbane Lions could be a potential new home

He played his junior footy up there, plus I think Chris Fagan is the fatherly figure type of coach that could keep him on the straight and narrow (provided his body holds up)
Did he? I thought he was from Perth before he went to Melbourne.

Didnt really have an opponent tonight except players like Vlastuin /Baker / Short / Houli around him

Was not looking like a gun player at all , Playing foward against players 15-20cm shorter he really should have done alot more

You watched this game, yet have this view?

Our inside 50 entries were worse than aus kickers. Hogan took strong grabs, but mostly further up the ground, as that was his role. Worked hard, good hands, missed two opportunities to kick goals, actually a decent game.

Yeah there were some positive signs for a guy who has hardly played in 2 years

The issue with his misses was the distance.

One thing that Hogan always struggled with was his long kicking for goal, outside of about 40m he struggles.

That's always been his strength. Gut running the whole game, taking marks on the wing then doubling back into the forward line. Bloody hard for a defender to go with him the whole time.

Good to see him back playing, hope it continues :thumbsu:

Jayden Short & Liam Baker are both 175cm tall , That would have alot to do with his marking numbers in last nights game
We should of resigned Sandilands put him in the fwd line would of broke all sorts of records by your theory.
Do you discredit lynch every game that his opponent is shorter?
First game in 8 weeks against one of the best pressure teams physical and spacial.
still got to clunk them!
