Hilf was the best bowler on either side in the 2009 Ashes, and got MOTM in the next test he played against the Windies before injury. His games against Pakistan and India were top notch, he was denied the plumb LBW which would have won Australia the game and the series v India (1 wicket loss and no reviews), a bad series against England, but the next year he smacked India and did well v the Windies. If he'd gotten that LBW, which noone could seriously doubt (!), he'd have taken 100 test wickets...Carried the Australian attack (with Hammond) in the WI in 73 after Lillee broke down in the first test.
