Report from the VFL thread is that Caddy went to a wedding. Club probably thought some time off would do him good. He was stale the week before so ease out some soreness and come back fresh after two weeks off (we have a stupid bye).

CCJ wont come in this week. He had an average game and he wasn't alone. They were thumped.
VFL side this year is made up of our fringe and development players and some very young kids from around the traps. Hardly any senior bodies like the team that won in 19. Really the AFL club's VFL sides are basically for development and to mirror the seniors style of play anyway. Finals and Premierships are a bonus.

MRJ just needs plenty of games under his belt and Stacky is starting to show promising signs. The one to watch is Cumberland. Liking the cut of his jib.

After starting four weeks behind the AFL season we now have a VFL bye. Frikkin joke.

Nothing new every era comes to a end that's why you make the most of your time.It's about planning and having a strong football department and avoid topping up.Perfect example is lions had there era lost there stars and kept topping up and then finally woke up and rebuild through the draft.
