Freo, Crows, Gold Coast, GWS and Brissy should also work out why haven’t got it don’t the past 15 years, not rocket science? 13 out of 15 premiers have been Victorian. This is not just a port problem.

Ken Hinkley. But no neutral supporter ever listens to us when we say ken is the problem.Need an enquiry why Port couldn’t get it done lmao
Interstate teams coast through the season on home ground advantage only to get found out when it matters.
Nothing to do with where the grand final is played, which I’m sure is what this thread will turn into. It’s an easy excuse.
This is an AFL wide problem.. obviously something is wrongFreo, Crows, Gold Coast, GWS and Brissy should also work out why haven’t got it don’t the past 15 years, not rocket science
Yeah I think that argument has been quashed in the last 2 years. There were Victorian teams that have been sent off to all sorts of places during this time and the GF included 2 Vic teams each time.
No current season stats available
There are 10 clubs in Victoria. There will always be at least a couple of Victorian clubs in contention. Add in the inherent victorian advantage in finals and this means that Victoria as a market will always win more flags. As is being shown over the past decade.10 bites lol. People follow one club. Go tell saint and Carlton supporters how lucky they are and the disadvantage that West Coast get with as they spend the same off field as every other club
The clubs that haven’t got it done have a problem. Port getting belted tonight isn’t a league wide problemThis is an AFL wide problem.. obviously something is wrong
People follow one club, people don’t get excited when another Vic club wins. There are 10 clubs in Victoria. There will always be at least a couple of Victorian clubs in contention. Add in the inherent victorian advantage in finals and this means that Victoria as a market will always win more flags. As is being shown over the past decade.
Equalisation please
Is home advantage not offset by away disadvantage?
Off course where a game is played matters? What kind of low IQ statement is that?
Studies have conclusively proved this - there are multibillion dollar sports leagues out there beyond our semi-professional parochial game - this really has been looked into believe it or not.
Why'd you use that stat? Stop the year after a 6 year streak of non-vic sides winning the premiership? I guess 8 of 20 was too proportional to the number of vic vs. non vic sides in the comp?
But why are they losing, it’s obvious after the last 15 years that interstate teams need help of sorts.. I don’t understand how only 2 of 15 premiers have been non victoriansThe grand final being played at the G does not matter. Interstate teams are struggling to make the grand final despite hosting plenty of home finals.
It’s a totally different argument.
I do.We need an official enquiry and equalisation measures. No one wants to watch Victorian clubs win flags on rotation because of inherent advantages

Haha please. The poor West Coast Eagles with their massive empire in the West. There are 10 clubs in Victoria. There will always be at least a couple of Victorian clubs in contention. But you only support Carlton and gain no pleasure from other Victorian clubs winning the flag? Just want to be sure here because we keep getting mixed messages from Victorian fans.I do.
? 13 out of 15 premiers have been Victorian. This is not just a port problem.
So you’re saying we inflate our ladder position by our home games? So we are worst than what it appears, shouldn’t an enquiry happen then if that’s the case?Because an interstate teams ladder position is artificially inflated by having 10 true home games during the season. You only need to beat 2-3 Victorian sh*t kickers in Melbourne and that’s finals almost guaranteed.
15 years is an awfully convenient period mind you.
Nah. Don’t discount the impotence of the non Vic teams this year. There are 10 clubs in Victoria. There will always be at least a couple of Victorian clubs in contention. Add in the inherent victorian advantage in finals and this means that Victoria as a market will always win more flags. As is being shown over the past decade.
Equalisation please
So what has changed between those years and the last 15? Why in the last 15 years only two have won
Yeah but clearly something is wrong if interstate teams have a 2 out of 15 premiership recordJust the way it sometimes goes, we don’t give flags out in a rotational basis.
