Seen a few of these posts from tigers fans. Richmond came out playing the man. It impacts the free kick count.
Umpires provably missed 3 or 4 to the tigers over the course of the game, but it wasn't this biased level of only paying things one way. After quarter time it was 8 frees to hawks, 10 to Richmond as well
It was 17-7 at 3/4 time muppet

Dan Rioli yet another great game…

To my eyes something changed in him during the second half of the west coast game… like he suddenly regained his speed after 3 years of looking like he’d lost 2yardsnafter his broken foot. He’s really back. The ferocious way he sprints off the back of the square is just so exciting …

Welcome back Daniel!!

Love seeing him trying to continue on the chains out of d50 and use the entire ground
Had a few pings at goal that could of come off as great passages of play

Gonna be awesome when he sticks a few of them

Charges laid:
Marlion Pickett, Richmond,
has been charged with Engaging in Rough Conduct against Dylan Moore, Hawthorn, during the second quarter of the Round Nine match between Hawthorn and Richmond played at the MCG on Saturday, May 14, 2022.

In summary, he can accept a one-match sanction with an early plea.

Based on the available evidence, the incident was assessed as Careless Conduct, Medium Impact, High Contact. The incident was classified as a one-match sanction as a first offence. The player can accept a one-match sanction with an early plea.

how the * did they get "medium" impact? gee... we should challenge that to "low" impact as he got up basically straight away and played out the game.

Even the "high" is questionable and potentially challengeable.

just like the rule changes, its about their bigger picture. They want to remove the aggression from the game. I don't give a s**t as long as the game is great to watch. but bloody hell they should tell us where the line is cause I have no idea. Dangeflop knocked a guy out....crickets. and i saw the double-action forearm lift on vlaus, I'm not as dumb as those muppets.

There’s an angle that they’re showing on tv that shows some Head high contact unfortunately. Still the fact it’s graded as medium impact is a joke, surely we could reasonably argue it was low impact given the Hawks player got straight back up?

From the video seems like the Hawthorn player lowered himself, knees bent just before impact. Not blaming the Hawks player, just pointing out both the players positions on impact.

As a defence, I'd be stating bump is shoulder to shoulder, the player with the ball is within 5m, and the player that was bumped was lower than expected.

Baffling that it has even got this far really. But the MRP are one of the AFL's many ongoing jokes. They're comedy gold.

Promising young forward Cox is injured.
In: Edwards, Gibcus or Taz.
Out: Pickett, Balta.
Important games coming up because Carlton could cement top four, defeating Syd at Marvel, then Coll, Dons.

Might be worth appealing to get the medium contact down to low. The Hawks player did play on for a bit before going for concussion test, then played out the match. May be able to argue impact on that alone.

Going to call it now. We will lose to the bomber's after the pasting they have copped in the media. Perfect storm of a big occasion and one team needing something inspirational.

All the media will start creaming their pants about the bombers being back and then we will be hit in the media with how everyone should retire and we should just gift Dusty to Sydney because it is what the media want.

Certainly doesn’t help that Balta is injured. s**t *ing timing with Wright there. Guy is generally a bit of a spud but if he marks it he’ll probably kick the goal.

Except for one thing: Essendon are crap. We will dispose of them comfortably.
