After 2 rounds, we need to reconsider expectations on:

Swans (could make an argument for being flag favourite)
Carlton
Collingwood
Hawthorn
Gold Coast
Port

I would like to give Dogs and Dons more time as I can see in their games some really good footy.

Today's match against Tigers v GWS will tell us about those two teams only if Tigers win.

Nothing changes re Melb and Brisbane. Expectation still very high. Cats moderately high.

Equally Kangas, Crows and Eagles expectation are low.

Saints and Freo are the two that could find themselves in no man's land.

Loving how even the comp is and loving how well the new coaches are doing!

Redrawing the ladder:

Swans
Dees
Lions
Blues
Dogs
Cats
Suns
Giants

Pies
Hawks
Tigers
Port
Dons
Freo
Saints
Kangas
Eagles
Crows

Aaaaand once again this exercise is proven to be a total folly

Just looking at these predictions now and people are like sheep, just copying one another. I don’t know who 1st thought Geelong would drop off so badly we couldn’t make the 8, but people went along with it.

We still have double ups against the roos and eagles and home games against the likes of crows, port and Freo. Another 7 wins and 11 other games.
I know we are a year older and all but to see people just consistently had us missing is odd.

Can you please re-do the ladder for halfway through this round? Curious to see which teams we need to reconsider.

How I expect things to pan out from here:

Melbourne
Brisbane
Sydney
Dogs
Geelong
St Kilda
Carlton
Fremantle

Richmond
GWS
Gold Coast
Essendon
Port Adelaide
Collingwood
Hawthorn
West Coast
Adelaide
North

I’m expecting Port to get on some sort of run at some stage and Hawks and Pies to fluctuate a bit with some good wins and big losses.

Richmond and GWS hard to gauge, Gold Coast could be a sneaky to challenge the 8 as well.

If Essendon win their next couple they are back in business too.

I'm not convinced we are going well enough to finish top 2. We have a lot to work on and even though we have ground out some wins im just not convinced. Granted there is a long season ahead.
