The first major individual medal presentation for the evening is for the Fred Medal, awarded to the leading goalkicker during the regular season rounds. It is named after Sweet FA veteran and founding member Fred, who served this board with great distinction for 415 games, still the 5th highest games aggregate. Previously the Alf Andrews Award, it was renamed to honour the great influence that Fred had over the league, especially in our formative years.

It is to no ones surprise that the Season 33 Fred Medal Winner is Bonz from the reigning premiership side the Dragons FFC. Bonz started the season with a 5 goal haul against the Roys and booted 70 goals for the season, just pipping Phoenix Itsmyshow to take out his first ever Fred medal. His biggest bag came in Round 9 vs the Bombers where he booted 11 goals.

The TFLUA_Tiger Award was created as the Committees choice of the best player in the sim back in Season 12, in response to the proclivity of Mids winning the Mobbenfuhrer Medal. In S28, ownership of this award was given back to the Committee, who voted on whatever criteria they each felt most appropriate for the best player of the season, on a 3-2-1 basis.

10/12 clubs voted for the TFLUA Tiger award this season (and one almost refused because they felt that they were above it). T2B_, Pie 4 Life, por_please_ya, Agent93, Ulahoopski, Elmer_Judd, GremioPower, Mobbs, Headless, Bonz, Proper Gander, Matera92 & zackah were all considered this this seasons TFLUA Tiger award.

The winner of the Season 33 TFLUA Tiger Award is East Side's ex skipper Agent93. During an outstanding season in the Center, he topped the league for disposals (Ave 21.8), marks (Ave 6.4) & Exie (Ave 99.1). His best performance came in Round 13 against the Wonders where he got 26 disposals, took 11 marks and kicked 3 goals.

The Demons led the Royals at every break & despite inaccurate kicking for goal, ran out 46 point winners. The Furies travelled to play the unbeaten Gumbies & finished 14 point victors in a massive upset. It was close all day in the undefeated Bombers vs winless Warriors contest. The Bombers led my small margins at every change before a late goal to Dinsdale gave the Warriors a thrilling 4 point win. An 8 goal to 2 first quarter set the Wonders up for a 55 point thrashing of the Roys. The Dragons slipped to 1-4 after a heartbreaking loss to the Hawks Chipmunks Phoenix. Chipmunk 's team kicked the first 5 goals of the match before a spirited fightback by the Dragons saw scores level at 3/4 time. A 5 goal to 2 last quarter to the Phoenix was enough for an 18 point margin at the final siren. In the final match of Round 5, the Bears led the Swamprats from start to finish in a 65 point thrashing.

sante & Bonz both kicked 6.4 while pantskyle led DT with a whopping 137.
