It's his way of releasing of his anger, like Murray does although Nick does it a lot more aggressively and uglier.

Bottom half completely falls apart while Nick gets the remaining 3 seeds in the top half, although he probably prefers it that way to be fair. Him playing Hurkacz and the winner against FAA should be great matches.

Most players flame out the week after winning a tournament. Wouldn't read anything into Kyrgios beating Medvedev, who won in Mexico last week, or Nick himself losing to Hurkacz.

Taylor was the better player today, Nick needs to work on his fitness level to play at the top level on a regular basis, especially against the top players

We were discussing Nick Kyrgios in the US Open thread and saying that now he is back in Australia, he wouldn't compete again until the Aussie summer season.
Looks like we were wrong. He is down to compete in the Basel tournament (24 Oct) and since the Paris Masters is the week after I'd expect he is playing in that too.
