Hampson is a ripper. She was 2nd best midfielder with Suns (after Rowbottom) - strong, physical. She should be a perfect fit.

I’d like an explanation as well, but at a guess, I’d say brizrider has heard our playing group has a division in it, with players taking sides.

Yep that’s what I’ve heard. It may or may not be true. Heard it from an academy person

If that's true then that's a case for never dating team mates. When it all goes belly up it creates division and problems and an otherwise great team can potentially become a basket case on the field.

Pretty similar for both.

My son had been an aflw supporter from the start. Dragged me to quite a few games.

He's done. Says he won't go to games because it's the only protest he can make against the way the league is being run.

Too many clubs jumping in and parasite-ing (he tells me that's a real word) off the hard work of the start up clubs.

Doesn't blame the girls leaving, just doesn't feel connected.

I think wadlaw was the straw that broke his back.

It is disappointing to lose players but the competition has to grow like the early days of the MENS VFL with teams like University struggling and the need to bring in teams from of the VFA for the league to prosper. I am super happy Bella n Hickey have re-signed...with the experience we have around them the future looks bright. We have lost players before n it has never been a hindrance to us. I am excited about 2023...bring it on.
