Are you at any point going to discuss football, or just observe me?
There's not really much to discuss except that Carlton are going along nicely and the Pies have a bit of work to do. I want to use injuries as an excuse but the dog's had some real quality out. Nick is in a class of his own but needs support. It's a long season with so much to play out still. The flag is wide open because Sydney will go through a patch where they drop games. Essendon will fall in a heap and that kinda makes me happy. I've always been a realist and a lover of football talent, it's just in my blood

Again, it means nothing unless we can compare the form lines of the teams the other sides have faced over the same period.
I don't think that is necessary to do that at all considering this is not meant to be some sort of large-scale analysis of the AFL fixture in 2024. But if you want to do that go ahead and lmk if you find a similar stretch in another team's draw

Collingwood's injury list is exactly the type I told Blues supporters would be worse than what they faced 5 weeks ago.

Losing a few (not just one) of your best midfielders and having KPP stocks depleted will always cut up a team more, especially if these things occur at the same time.

If Collingwood restored all of their KPP players except Murphy (equivalent to Carlton just missing Gov from the KPPs), lost some peripheral flankers, two decent rebounders (say Noble and Quaynor) and only had their third best midfielder (Mitchell?) out they would have coped better than they did last night.

That much is common sense.

But you're right, the Bulldogs were missing some quality too.

Fair enough. I don't bother analysing the intricacies of the fixture for this reason. It would be a biased focus on my team alone.

Thread is over 10K

Time to lock it Wosh :p
Nah, we’re going to keep it up and make a new one for 2025. We’re not locking our most active thread! 🍸

Just don't give me the old 'cheque is in the mail' answer when I ask for match payments again...

lol Fadge's fault, righto. I have to post here because i got banned from Naicos is the goat thread by a Blues mod for calling Walsh soft (i kid you not lol). He had the 4th most contested possessions and 6th most clearances in history last night, HISTORY!! And he did get tagged for those who didn't watch the game. He carried us, its not his fault he was kicking it to spazzes who missed targets in the clear by 20 meters when not under and pressure (Noble and Crispy, multiple times, i am looking at you)
It's astounding.

If Collingwood and it's players are aware of that thread, they'd see it for what it is - many observers (Collingwood and neutral supporters) singing the kid's praises, with a minority of bitter, twisted and jealous posters trying their best to talk down a superstar of the game.

You don't sporting organisations and elite sportsmen know how to handle social media?

And you reckon Daicos would care what a bunch of no-names on BigFooty think about him and the way he plays?

Do you just ignore the majority of opposing views?
