Me either. I was told last year it was going to be 4 years.

I've recently found out that he asked if the Giants would consider a lifetime offer (last 2 years are significantly lower than the first 4) it gives the Giants a bona fide star for the next 4 years on decent coin, then a very serviceable mature player - cheaply - for the last 2 years of the deal.

No brainer for us to sign off on that deal.
