I've honestly never seen a team that is as obviously coached to play for frees at every opportunity.


The number of times Jetta, Petruccelle or Ryan took on a tackler and got dispossessed either without giving away a free or actually getting a free themselves was incredible.

Exactly what I think, we need to consistently put in 4 quarters like we did tonight.

Jonas in post match interview mentioned we deliberately lowered the eyes and sought to prevent the intercept marks going inside 50. That mixed with immense midfield pressure and a forward structure with some height won us the game.

It's almost like that's a better game plan than bombing it long to S Gray.

Excellent win, and we really played well as a team tonight. Absolutely dominated them from the start, and pleasingly never really let them back in it.

I think in particular a few of the common whipping boys here did exceptionally well.

Sam Gray was up there in our best. Ran hard, linked up well, and finished decently as well.

Dougal’s spoil then tackle was a team lifting moment. His speed, size and athleticism make him a weapon when his confidence is up. Really liked his game.

Hinkley also deserves credit for this. We really did outcoach them and pressured them out of their usual game style.

Shit I forgot to mention Dougal in my post, you're right, he had a ripper tonight. We are a massively better team when Dougal is up and about controlling the air.
