Time to bite the bullet and reduce total teams so each side is a legitimate chance of playing finals. We don't need 18, 19 or 20 teams. WA=2, SA=2, QLD=2, NSW=1, ACT=1, NT=1, TAS=1, VIC=6. So 10 Vic teams need to merge into 6. 16 teams play eachother twice. NO MORE FIXTURE! We want a strong comp, strong membership, strong crowds.

You should write a strongly worded letter to AFL.

No dreaming AFL have said multiple times since day dot its a generational plan. We are part time at the moment and are still drawing nrl size crowds.
AFL income is over a billion dollars.

And as our stadium is 22k I don’t think the AFL is expecting us to draw 40K.
Half the vic clubs don’t draw that when they aren’t playing in a derby.
