He only had 6 possessions I think today and his fitness looks miles short of AFL for now. He shows the glimpses we need to see though. Will need several big preseasons, I would think next year he will pushing for a handful of games, before 2022 he becomes a clear first 22 player.

He’s doing fine for a pick 51, not many picks in the 50’s even make it as AFL players so we need to lower our expectations on him I think.

A 30 second ad for a 25 second clip....
He's had something like 15 disposals and 1 goal from his last 3 games, or thereabouts. He doesn't need high disposals for his position but he's not ready. His pressure and tackling from what I've seen is very good.
He needs to lose weight as well. If we end up no chance of making finals is give him a game, see how he goes in a better forward line.

Can still remember the way the crowd would react when Maurice Snr first came into the VFL .Never seen someone with the absolute class and tackling technique like Maurice before.
