We have most of our preferred forwards out. Brownie didn't even bother thinking of that. He just said the Lion's have lost two defenders. But the reality is they traded Doedee to be their second Back after Harris-Andrews. To allow Harris-Andrews to be that intercept player. But that didn't work too well.

Tommy was good in his 150th game. Wow. He didn't give Morris a fecking cm. The reality was only 2 of Morris' goals were legit. His third should never have happened due to a VERY BLATANT THROW.

We should have won by far more. But shut down in the last 10 minutes. Mind you we had a really good forward movement but the umpire decided we had interfered

And I don’t want to sound like a certain member of this forum. But he needs to kick on his right.

Yep but still so young, but if he wants to go to an even greater level. Get that right going and become unstoppable

• Scrub the last 7 or 8 minutes from the tape, but all in all a great win to hopefully build 2026 off. A bit of sloppiness to clean up but we stopped a couple of run ons which has been one of the big issues of recent times.
• Sheldrick career best game easily, Heeney great and I thought Chad was great too. Harry flogged Cameron again. Another better game from Blakey which is pleasing. Thought Buller competed well early, despite that silly moment late.
• Liked that we went more by hands today, it looked messy and clunky at times but we need to keep persisting with it, hoping it wasn't a one off and is something we actively trying to add into our game.
• We love a brain fade though, and they often start happening when we go into conservative/save the game modes. Next step is to not stop at 4-5 goal margins and break sides, something we really haven't really been able to do so far under Cox.

Superb team win!!

Defence were immense for 95% of game but that last 5mins!! Wow! Shows you the difference a Grundy makes with his ruck contests.

Heens and Chad brilliant, Tommy McCartin was spesh in 150th!

Shows what this team can do and glad it was a solid 4 quarter effort too, will give us confidence going into next year, need to follow up with the same next week!!

I think he just needs to play to his limitations. He’s clearly not a great kick but by making smarter decisions, that can get hid a lot more .

Also thought Florent played a decent game overall , good 3rd quarter, battled though confidence issues,
