Who I hope we'll land are

Pick 23: Colquhoun, Smith, Clurey, Lonergan, Membrey
Pick 45 & 47: McIntosh, Corr, White, Temay, O'Brien, Stewart
Picks 66 & 67: Ashby, Thurlow, Simpson, Irra, Sumner

Mostly Talls with good size and pace, a few HBF's and some smaller players with real pace and agility.

Lonergan probably the only inside mid I'd want after the top few.
Bolded parts are insane. They're dead-set certainties to go earlier.

Reckon you're a good chance to get Colquohoun at 23 providing the Pies don't get him, but I think you'll get a Key-Position Defender around that pick.

Overall I got:
1 inside mid who is ready to go: Jesse Lonergan
1 HBF who could develop into a mid if you need him to but could replace a few future retirements: Adam Carter
2 KPD: Sam Siggins (FB) & Aidan Corr (CHB)
2 KPF: 1 for now (Haretuku) and 1 for the future (Middleton)
1 young ruck: Sam Gilmore
Good needs selections tigs, the only other thing I'd like is a small forward. We only have 2 players on our rookie list I believe so will be interesting to see if we fill it up a bit more.

My major complaint is that you picked someone with your 1st rounder that has an outside chance of playing 50 games for the club, very un-Swans like.

Just watching the video of Nick Graham, and gee he looks a lot like Parker, wouldn't mind seeing us pick him up with our first rounder.

What is Broomes status? Should be rookied at very least...
BTW, one sweeping pun only...
But by reading reports ect seems to have some potential..
Thoughts and update??

Yer I wanted Tipungwuti but he went earlier than expected. I would have had to take him over Middleton or Siggins and I don't rate him high enough to do that. I'll get one in the rookie draft which gets done eventually.

An article from yesterday about Broome;
http://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/sport/a/-/afl/15375965/broome-sweeps-back-on-the-scene/
Broome has nominated for the draft after moving to NSW during the year where he played six games and kicked 14 goals for Sydney's reserves team in the NEAFL.

St George coach Terry Mudge said Broome had proven he could handle living in a large city and wanted another opportunity.
"He was the talk of the football town and started to get the bug again. He thought he'd made mistakes and going home was one of them," Mudge said.
"He started saying that he'd love another opportunity. If someone needs a small, quick forward, who knows what may happen."
PS They've used up the punning quota. :)

Nick Lower would solve our lack of inside midfield depth problem.

What lack of inside midfield depth problem? Just because we don't have that many at reserves level (and we've still got Mitchell, and IMO Lamb's best work is done on the inside) doesn't mean we don't have depth: Bolton, Hannebery, Jack, Bird and even Smith are all capable of getting in there and winning clearances, but have been playing primarily on the outside or as half-forwards that rotate through the midfield (or in Smith's case, being absolutely awesome in defence).

I really would like to see Smith be given a midfield shot. You are correct, he is awesome in defence, but I reckon he could rip it up given the positional switch. Bit OT for this thread so do carry on :)

In Emma Quayles draft analysis today she thinks we're hoping to get either Ben Kennedy or Mason Wood with our first pick.

Have read a few reports now that say Mason Shaw will drop to the second round, the guy was touted as a top 10 pick at the start of the year.

Dayle is a bit of a tool. But no I don't think he'll make it out of the top 15, production at WAFL senior level has been very good. If we got him at 22 it would be good value.

Emma Quayle thinks not many clubs are interested in him because of his issues, looks likely he'll go to Collingwood, if they pass I hope we take the risk and pick him.

Hey guys, hope I'm not intruding too much - but I am interested in Daniel Robinson. I had a quick search and couldn't find much - what is the general consensus on him and what type of player is he?

If there are any video highlights also that would be great.

Cheers
