2nds 2015 VFL List Changes

Though I remember there was a Rumor that Waylan Manson was seen at the Westpac Center. I wonder IF he is trying out with the VFL Side or not
I'd only believe that rumour if I saw Manson running out onto the ground in a Collingwood jumper! But you never know.

Just a quick shout-out, but the VFL have confirmed that the fixture will be out tomorrow:

'Bout time.

Hopefully we get a clash-free fixture for once (I count up to 12 clash-free weekends based on information we have so far plus a little guesswork, so a good chance for no clashes of games), as well a couple of good curtain-raisers/double headers.

Oh, and plenty of games at Victoria Park. Let's not abandon the place again...

We will have to wait until after the drafts are done before there is much talk on this front.

Tyrone Downie (26 year old Bendigo Gold listed player) was signed and training with the VFL Tigers before launching his AFL career via the rookie draft a couple of weeks later.

Levi finished 3rd of the Roos B&F Dave. Not sure where you're getting your information from.
I'm sure Dave is referring to Greenwood having played lots of VFL football in previous years, just not this year when he obviously did well with North.

http://www.collingwoodfc.com.au/news/2014-10-15/levi-greenwood-the-story-so-far

After playing just 24 games in the previous three years, Greenwood averaged 25.0 disposals in 22 games, finishing third in North Melbourne’s Syd Baker Medal count.

That should say "Syd Barker Medal" of course, I've just copied that straight from the article.

Oh look, we added a player;

@PaulAmy375: Collingwood VFL GM @lukegatti wasn't taking holidays until he secured ex-Gold Coast Sun Jeremy Taylor. The tall defender is a locked-in Pie

Not a bad get either.

I thought that they were going to play some AFL curtain raiser games??
They still might, seems as if they have put a few games earlier in the day before MCG and Etihad games with the chance of moving them if the weather is ok.

I think you will find they will transfer the Biues game at Vic Park to the MCG on 8 August
I think you will find they will transfer the Biues game at Vic Park to the MCG on 8 August.
Also we play:
Geelong AFL & VFL on 8/9 May
Richmond on 16/17 May
Richmond on 22 August

So any of those 3 weekends could see a double headers with a simple VFL venue transfer.

Edit - also the Melbourne & Casey on 8 June weekend
So a total of 5 times we play the AFL team & their VFL team (affiliate) on the same weekend.
Nb I left out the Essendon ANZAC day as a double header is not possible (we play Essendon VFL on 26 April)

I noticed the VFL team plays a practice match at Olympic Park, I wonder if they will host regular VFL games there once redevelopment is complete.

They won’t have Regular Season Games there. There Home Games be Vic Park or MCG
