The problem isn't getting MCC members to the game, it's getting them to sit in the worst seats in the ground. Those should be the ones they sell in the presale.

I know last nights crowd was somewhat disappointing, but I feel there wouldn’t of been more than 500 or 600 seats at the top of the MCC. Even if they were full, a crowd of over 97,000 would’ve been hard to see happening.
Not bad considering the one sidedness of the game. Second biggest Prelim Fox ratings, behind last years Rich v GWS PF.TV Ratings Richmond V Collingwood:

Would require basically everybody that has a seat turning up, so, No.Official crowd: 59,608 at Optus Stadium
Slightly higher than the Collingwood final (by 23 people)
Wonder if it'll ever reach 60k
Don't think it matters since this is an AFL thread.I wonder how the NRL did?
ie corporates who have to pay, but get 10 seats or 15 seats or 20 seats for their boxes and not everyone rocks up would make up most of that 400+ shortfall. Illness and accidents, maybe even a death or two would see some punters who have paid $150-$200 of their own hard earned not make it to the game and not give their ticket away to someone.Would require basically everybody that has a seat turning up, so, No.

Why can't they just explicitly advertise to the MCC members that their area will be reserved for them until the end of business on Friday. Then on match day any left over/non acquired seats become available to the general public, first in first served.
Hmm as I suspected, so essentially it's just beuracracy that stops logical steps from happeningThats way too easy for a mob like the know all MCC!
That whole section should be taken off them and sold to anyone that wants them
They have way too many seats as it is.But I dont see the AFL having the balls to ask.

1.14m fta for yesterday’s game. Significantly lower than Friday despite not being head to head with the nrl. Amazing what a ten goal half time margin can knock off the viewing average
Might push 1.6m with stv
Edit: 432k stv so 1.576m all up
