Anyone want a bit of fun read the comments from other posters in the Geelong board for West Coast offering the same deal they offered Crows for Danger.

The irony in their staunch refusals is delicious!

I hope they lose him for unders. No one complained about Geelong getting all of their father son players for nothing and then the VFL helps them get Ablett back for next to nothing. They also played hard ball on the Dangerfield deal. Screw them!

Only my opinion and that is why I said due respect but I Think It is when you are targeting a NEAFL Player. Sorry If it sounded dismissive of your opinion.

All good makes sense when you have Clarified.

He may just become NEAFL bound but for not giving up anything in trade he still outruns most at AFL level and is worth a punt IMO probably a bit one eyed as I watch most Lions games due to Dad so get a fair look at them compared to other teams.

Not until he is officially delisted. Wont be until after the ND i believe.

Also as he has had calf surgery he cant even run until after Jan so it may even be a 2 year deal......

Don't think he plays backline unless he moved there this season and I didn't watch much Crows, only for pleasure when they were getting thrashed

I thought he played mainly on the wing in games i saw this year, with rotations through HB. Could be wrong, but didnt play small forward.

Left field I know but what about picking up Sam Murray ? Pies don't want him and though we may have lost Cola there's still plenty of Coke to lure him to Sydney.

Seriously, a medium sized rebounding defender who averaged 21 disp per game over the 13 games he played in 2018. ASADA say he's right to play in 2020, he's a known quantity and Swans have been known to straighten out a few blokes in their time. The story I read was we were looking to promote him to seniors before Pies went after him.
