Renegades have signed Imran Tahir (available after xmas). Also signed Afghan spinner Noor Ahmed for the period Tahir is unavailable.

Tahir causing some sort of outcry from people who only watch cricket 2 weeks a year after he celebrates a wicket is almost a certainty.

Noor is 15? Or is Cricinfo wrong

Supposedly. He's probably most famous for mankading and celebrating like he'd bowled the ball of the century at last years u19 world cup.

Seems like a bit of a campaigner haha

Can we sign another international? Becuase we would be playing Tahir/Noor and Nabi.

Narine back would be nice. Im looking more for a specialist batsman. All rounder is good as long as he is reliable with the bat. Our middle order crumbles
Finch Harris Harper Marsh Marquee Nabi Webster/Sutherland Boyce Foreign Spinner Pattsion Richardson

Too many openers for my liking

Maybe a genuine finisher

for maximum popcorn I want Noor to repeat his U19 WC effort

English allrounder Lewis Gregory joins the Heat as their third international - not the worst player and should improve the Heat. Still, will be interesting to see how many of the English signings will be in their white ball squad that goes to South Africa?

From the English signings so far Banton, Malan, Curran and Roy definitely will be. Guess it depends if they take a bigger squad for practice matches then Livingstone, Vince and Gregory might be in the mix. Their last match ODI is on the 9th of December so I guess they'll maybe miss 2 or 3 matches due to quarantine. That's all speculation until we get a confirmed schedule though.

They've named separate 15-man squads for the ODI and T20 tours. Curran and Roy named in both. Malan in the T20 squad only. Livingstone and Gregory in the ODI squad only. Banton not in either but named as a reserve for both so I assume that means he'll still travel with the squad. Vince in neither.

fixture to be released tomorrow, final in Melbourne?
Not impressed with that, should be at the home ground of the highest ranked team. Melbourne gets plenty of sporting events each year, I’m sure they can cope one year without. I get what they are trying to do, but don’t agree with sacrificing fairness for it.

But what happens if Perth finished top? The BBL would have to pause for two weeks?
