I am simply being sensible and not whining over something long gone.

However you cut that game up and want to view it Boyd kicked our arse from one end of the field to the other.

He played a ripper that day - **** him.

I am still trying to reconcile Daniher getting a top 10 pick for his deal but the Cameron one falls to 11 or 12 or whatever.

Numbers make no sense.

When system like that appear arbitrary then they are useless.

"Band 1 compo" happens after your first round pick would fall.

If Essendon finished last they would get Pick 2 for Daniher. If they wont he flag they would get pick 19.

So GWS get a "worse" pick because they finished higher in the season than Essendon did

So did Will Langford not that it mattered that much because the game was long gone before he dribbled that goal from the boundary line.

You are correct and my post was meant to be more a lamentation about the whole system which is garbage rather than the workings of it.

Fingers crossed Campbell gets bid on after pick 10. Not likely but you never know.

I still want Phillips with pick 3, but if he is not available I would go with DGB and then Hollands.
