My head was so much into the USFL one day i watched a full NFL game from the 2021 season and was so aggravated how touchy it is, and how many bullshit calls alter the result of a game. There was none of that in the USFL.

Obviously it's great to have the NFL back, but it really is compromised. Dodgy calls that affect too many results.

If thats how they are calling RTP this season, Yikes. why even take the field.

I dont think the rule was ever enforced how it was in the book, this was how the zebras judged it. You still saw dozens of plays a game where a player lead with the crown and was not called. It was almost never called on the offense.
