Amari Rodgers was waived by the Colts on Tuesday, Joel A. Erickson of The Indianapolis Star reports.

Rodgers' difficulties with catching on with a club since being selected in the third round of the 2021 Draft by the Packers will continue. The Clemson product joined the team in early August after being let go by the Texans. The 23-year-old secured 12 of 17 targets for 154 yards and a touchdown for Houston last season in six contests, while catching four of eight targets for 50 yards in 10 contests with Green Bay during the 2022 campaign.

Blake Grupe is the only kicker on the Saints' roster after they traded WIl Lutz to Denver on Tuesday, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.

The Saints had enough confidence in the undrafted rookie to trade away a player who'd been their kicker since 2016, though Lutz missed all of 2021 and then had his worst season in 2022. Grupe is listed at 5-foot-7, 156 pounds, making him one of the shortest and lightest players in the NFL at any position, including among specialists.

The Panthers are slated to waive Spencer Brown on Tuesday, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.

Brown put together a solid preseason with Carolina, so he could resurface on the practice squad as long as he clears waivers. The team has expressed continued confidence that Miles Sanders (groin) will be ready for Week 1, but Chuba Hubbard and Raheem Blackshear are the only backs remaining on the roster should he have a setback.

David Quessenberry was released by Buffalo on Tuesday, per NFL.com.

The veteran tackle agreed to come back to Buffalo on March 18 before getting released Tuesday. Quessenberry has spent his five-year NFL career with Houston, Tennessee and Buffalo, appearing in 51 games over that span. He'll now be forced to look for a new home ahead of the coming season.

Indianapolis is slated to waive Jason Huntley on Tuesday, Joel A. Erickson of The Indianapolis Star reports.

Huntley becomes a candidate to reunite with the Colts via the practice squad, especially if a deal to trade Jonathan Taylor (ankle) does eventually emerge. The former New Mexico State standout suited up for five games with the Eagles from 2020-21.

Deion Jones was released by the Panthers on Tuesday.

Jones inked a one-year deal with the team in July, but he won't get the opportunity to play out that contract. The veteran linebacker spent last season with the Browns after spending the first six seasons of his career in Atlanta and was working to earn a depth role in Carolina's linebacker corps.

Von Miller (knee) will begin the campaign on the PUP list, which means he has to miss the first four games of the season, Sal Maiorana of the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle reports.

The Bills were hoping to have the veteran pass rusher back for a tough Week 1 matchup against Aaron Rodgers and the Jets, but Miller is at the stage of his career where he must be handled with care, and the team will play the long game this season. He was thought to be progressing well from a torn ACL suffered in a Thanksgiving game last season, so him being ready to go come Week 5 is not out of the question. Greg Rousseau, Leonard Floyd and A.J. Epenesa will head up the Buffalo pass rush in Miller's absence.

The Panthers waived Shi Smith on Tuesday, Mike Kaye of The Charlotte Observer reports.

Smith played in all 17 games for Carolina last season, recording a 22-296-2 receiving line on 41 targets while also contributing in the return game. He seems a likely candidate to earn a spot on the team's practice squad if another club doesn't claim him off waivers.

Ben DiNucci was waived by the Broncos on Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

DiNucci joined the team in May after a successful XFL season with Seattle. Ultimately though, the James Madison product was unable to unseat Jarrett Stidham for backup duties, while Denver has opted to carry two quarterbacks on their 53-man roster.

Ronnie Harrison was released by the Colts on Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Harrison signed a one-year deal with Indianapolis on Aug. 14 before getting released Tuesday. The 26-year-old played two years in Jacksonville and three in Cleveland before agreeing to terms with the Colts this offseason. Throughout his five-year career, the veteran safety has appeared in 67 games and tallied 223 tackles, 23 pass breakups and five interceptions.

The Broncos waived Montrell Washington on Tuesday, Chris Tomasson of The Denver Gazette reports.

Washington, a 2022 fifth-round pick, could realistically resurface on Denver's practice squad as long as he clears waivers. In 15 appearances as a rookie, he secured four of nine targets for two yards and logged five carries for 30 yards. With Tim Patrick (knee) out for the year and Jerry Jeudy (hamstring) in danger of missing serious time, emergency wide receiver depth will be significant for the Broncos.

Boogie Basham has reportedly been traded from the Bills to the Giants, sources have told ESPN's Jordan Raanan. The teams are thought to have swapped late-round draft picks in a future season.

Basham was a second-round pick in 2021, but he never really progressed and the Bills are deep on the defensive line this season. While Giants coach Brian Daboll is an offensive guy, he's familiar with Basham from their time together in Buffalo and is apparently happy to see if he can get the Wake Forest product's career going at little cost to the franchise.

The Dolphins cut Myles Gaskin on Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Gaskin made 17 starts between the 2020 and 2021 seasons but then got only 11 touches over four games last year and tumbled further down the depth chart this offseason. He spent the preseason working behind Raheem Mostert, Jeff Wilson (undisclosed), De'Von Achane (shoulder) and Salvon Ahmed (head), and even undrafted rookie Chris Brooks made his case to surpass Gaskin on the depth chart. If Gaskin does get a chance elsewhere this season, it might be as a passing-down back.

Darrynton Evans was waived by the Bills on Tuesday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.

Evans came aboard when the team lost Nyheim Hines (knee) for the season, but ultimately, the 25-year-old Evans was unable to push past Ty Johnson and Latavius Murray for the team's No. 3 running back spot. He'll now have to seek out a chance with another franchise.

The Giants are planning to release Jamison Crowder on Tuesday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

Crowder hasn't had much luck since departing the Jets, where he was a steady producer for several years. After a broken ankle limited him to just four games with the Bills in 2022, he has spent a portion of the 2023 training camp with the Giants limited by a calf injury. Assuming he does end up being released, the veteran wideout will likely work to pursue a new opportunity.
