This is typical of recent Packer defenses.

Mentally soft.

Don't turn up for games they think they can coast in.

Just on an earlier discussion.... it's ALDO harder to casually pick up a gridiron ball than a rugby/aussie rules ball because of its pointy shape, the ball bounces around very randomly.

Because if you caught or carry the ball from the field i to the endzone you already established possession, so grazing the pylon or plane of the goalline is a TD.

Whereas an attempted catch in the endzone requires the player to first establish possession.

In the field, if you catch and fall to the ground....same call would occur to be fair....you have to survive the ground to establish possession.
