Same here - AFL doing GC a solid by getting their biggest road trip out of the way straight up, leaving us with a trip to the GABBA in one of the round 20s. Bullshit.

Let's be honest, the hugely unconvincing performance against GC in Round 1 this year was a pretty decent indicator of where the side was at (especially mentally). I'm actually pleased we're getting them again. Very much hoping we come out and make a statement with a big win. Anything less will have me concerned about a repeat season in the nether-zone.

Sick of the ******* timeslot and what it means for 6 day breaks and opponents having a larger break than us for games. I dont give a * who the opponent is. To ease travel burden for both ourselves and freo we should start the season on a friday, go into our bye on a sunday evening, come out of our bye on a thursday like normal and finish the season on a sunday.

Above all else, opponents, playing at the G etc. This is the single biggest factor in our fixture. It's all about recovery.

They are up and about every single year in first month of season competing with every team in the league. After that they fold and lose games by 60+ regularly.
