Glad it is Hawthorne rather than a top team. We may well still lose, but last season's opening round debacle set the tone pretty early.
We'll beat them. Both them and Norf are the teams I'll back us to win comfortably.

I can't remember the last season we opened to such a hard run of teams as we had with the start of 2022. Injuries didn't help either.

We should beat those pesky Hawks.

Essendon has been confirmed to take on St Kilda in the Saint's 150-year anniversary game on Saturday, April 1.

The game will occupy the blockbuster Saturday night time slot, with a scheduled 7.25pm AEST bounce. It will be broadcast on Channel 7 and also available on FOX Footy and Kayo.
