Fun fact: Richa Ghosh has hit 24 sixes in her career, in less than half of the games (57) played by Deepti Sharm.

Her career strike rate in all forms of T20 is 118.83%.
Ehh your stats are just a touch out of wack (last night was Richa's 101st T20 match), and there's plenty of better comparisons to highlight her freak striking power. Such as...

In T20Is, she has hit more sixes from her 35 matches than what Nat Sciver has managed in her 108.

I quote from Bash Board.

But seeing her play, id imagine the more games she plays, the ratio of 6's per match will probably increase.

Also reflecting back on last nights game Ellyse Perry 50 might be deceiving.

RCB scored 34 runs in their first 40 balls, then scored , 32 runs in their next 40 balls.

Unfortunately, that ended up costing them the game, that slow phase in the first 2/3rds of the innings.

Gardner bowled well last night with 3 wickets but Gujarat are shot for confidence at the moment.

Mumbai back their ability to win in any situation and remain unbeaten. They really have a world class bowling lineup that doesnt give an each to opposing sides.

I haven't been watching too much of the WPL as it's not on at an ideal time, but it was great to see Gardner put in a good all-round performance, she wouldn't have been too happy with how she has played to date, especially with the bat. On the ESPN cricinfo website there is an interview with her from after the game, and she has become a very confident speaker who is thoughtful and articulate with her answers. She is a future captain in the making.

Roshan was tripping in commentary when he said UP Warriorz beating Mumbai opens up the comp, or something like that. MI have already qualified for the finals, so UP simply reinforced their place in the top 3 with that win.

The crowds and interest in the league had already been at unprecedented levels for women's domestic cricket, but I think it went up a notch yesterday and jeepers did the people get something to cheer about for both matches. Takes me back to the times on here when a few deadbeats and losers tried to disparage the mere thought of a women's IPL--could pull up quotes from past threads, but I'm too nice.
