Disagree their midfield still needs some work

I probably worded it wrong, what their midfield needs is a bigger harder body there to take over when Fyfe is gone (unless Jackson plays as an inside mid when Darcy returns?).

They don't necessarily need a Warner type.

Still have no idea what they were doing last year resigning Darcy could have got a bounty from Geelong (for instance) or another club who would have handed their first and more for him.

I like what Freo have done but their midfield does thin out after their top side.

As Longmire says always, premierships are hard to win. Some posters eagerly giving away potential premiership players for a few picks like they are easily replaceable.

Not too many players in the AFL choose to go around the corner for goal when 45m out on a 60 degree angle.
Hard to replace someone capable of making those decisions.

Maybe you forgot that Wayward was Horse's pet in his first few years. Horse grew up on a farm and I have no doubt he does not give up his pets easily.
