Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Disagree their midfield still needs some work
I probably worded it wrong, what their midfield needs is a bigger harder body there to take over when Fyfe is gone (unless Jackson plays as an inside mid when Darcy returns?).
They don't necessarily need a Warner type.
Still have no idea what they were doing last year resigning Darcy could have got a bounty from Geelong (for instance) or another club who would have handed their first and more for him.
I like what Freo have done but their midfield does thin out after their top side.

Probably , but be interesting to know what he's on and we are young and for his output , he's replaceableSo for Hayward if he goes it comes down to compensation picks only for us then?
I think maybe they don't see Jackson's best position being that number one ruckman.
Maybe a 2 ruckman who has a licence to create havoc over the ground causing mismatches (Adam Goodes style).
Darcy is a gun when available as well.
I just don't get the Hayward "he is replaceable". Replaceable with whom.Probably , but be interesting to know what he's on and we are young and for his output , he's replaceable
Not too many players in the AFL choose to go around the corner for goal when 45m out on a 60 degree angle.Probably , but be interesting to know what he's on and we are young and for his output , he's replaceable
From 13:06
Logan and Errol wanting to stay at Swans.
Discussion around matter of years.
Directly from mouth of their manager.
Has been communicated to other clubs in AFL.

GETTABLE: Free agent’s big asking price, mid's No.1 aim, 'who blinks' on deal?
Riley Beveridge and Cal Twomey answer your questions and are joined by player agent Ben Williams and draft prospect Sid Draper at Adelaide Ovalwww.afl.com.au
Fudge off Freo![]()
The players started it on Sunday.I think complacency has crept into the minds of a few posters here.

We are in premiership mode and people want to get rid of Haywood, Florent, McDonald for a lot of picks etc just reading a few posts over the last few days. I think complacency has crept into the minds of a few posters here. They think we will win a premiership without these so called "replaceable" players.
As Longmire says always, premierships are hard to win. Some posters eagerly giving away potential premiership players for a few picks like they are easily replaceable.
Just dumb imo.
Maybe replace Hayward with Magor. He is our medium forward in the magoos.
Maybe replace Florent with Vickery.
Maybe replace McDonald with Buller or Reid when he gets fit.
lmao.
Seems like it is like COVID now. Everyone has it.The players started it on Sunday.
Yes, if we don't match the competing offer. So for Hayward if he goes it comes down to compensation picks only for us then?
And somewhere deep in the jungle, Grand Uncle Horace's ears prick up...I just don't get the Hayward "he is replaceable". Replaceable with whom.

Magor it is. Done deal. Not too many players in the AFL choose to go around the corner for goal when 45m out on a 60 degree angle.
Hard to replace someone capable of making those decisions.
Post of the weekIf Freo really wants Warner we should give them Candice.
If Freo really wants Warner we should give them Candice.
I have said all along that the other 3 will sign and maybe not Wayward , not trying to get rid of anyone , but sometimes you have to sacrifice a player .I just don't get the Hayward "he is replaceable". Replaceable with whom.

We have two lazy firsts doing nothing atm. And I'd rather 1 gun player than two maybes. Package them up.

Maybe you forgot that Wayward was Horse's pet in his first few years. Horse grew up on a farm and I have no doubt he does not give up his pets easily.I have said all along that the other 3 will sign and maybe not Wayward , not trying to get rid of anyone , but sometimes you have to sacrifice a player .
Horse today said we will keep every player we want , or similar
Important wording isn't it.Horse today:
On future signings
“We're confident we'll keep all the players that we need to keep... We feel like the players know that they've got a group around them that's important to be able to play some good footy together. They've played a fair bit of footy together already, our younger group, and we're really confident in that group to be able to take the next step for this footy club.”
