That's not a bust. Her eyes are moving.

He was probably BOG for us today...

The last two times he's played VFL he's led our team for disposals...

"Barely VFL standard"?

Mate, stop making up nonsense to justify your vendetta against this kid.
Chadwiko - The coaches from Essendon and North just didn’t rate his performance to have 8 other players in front of him. Leading the disposals is one thing, what you do with those 24 touches and game impact is something else.

Essendon 15.9 (99) def North Melbourne 6.12 (48)

yeah, but that Louis Butler is something else, man. Hard to pry a vote off him.

Careful, they'll line up to take you down if you speak the truth.

Dominated two games without a single coaches vote?

Bailey's kicking so bad he gets a vote a vote for the D*ns.

Mostly responding to ridiculous comments. As above, there were people saying he was BOG on the weekend. He wasn't in the best 8 on the ground.

But why only Phillips? There are ridiculous comments on every player thread...

Also, did you watch the VFL game?

When a team gets belted, the losing team very rarely gets player votes from coaches.

Phillips was comfortably in our best 2-3 players on the weekend.

No one defends tucker or corrs shit games. Full time mid, doesn't rest forward, 24 is not enough. It was the first out of four or five games he's played that he's been better than Watkins.

Plenty of people defend shit games from Powell, Zurhaar, Scott, Curtis ect, but you aren't in those player threads. It's weird.

That would be because I rate all of them and they all have elite attributes. Will does not, his one chance was to increase his running capacity over the preseason and he didn't. He can't spread, doesn't run defensively and can't get to enough contests.

Zurhaars elite attribute is not being able to break tackles yet still attempts to every single chance he gets.
Scott’s elite attribute is serving it up on a silver platter to the opposition.
Think the other guys do have some actual elite attributes but genuinely don’t see it with those two.

So why aren't you in Lazzaro's player thread criticizing everyone who posts something positive in there?

Lazz has gotten himself in to supreme physical condition and has improved his disposal massively. I'm fairly confident he can make it, if someone's having an absolute crack at it that's all you can ask.
So Will isn't having an absolute crack then?

I had to do a double take on that, and check there was also the same name for Essendon. If he kicks better than “our” Bailey, should we get Rawlings to start working the phones? 😎😎😎
Hey ... he got a coaches vote in the VFL.

People do get quite defensive of Will though, assume because the alternative is admitting we stuffed up pick 2
Not everyone gets into the hand-wringing about picks.

The kids don't pick themselves, so it's a bit weird to keep referencing what pick they went. Totally valid when reviewing the performance of a list manager though.
