Watching the team going through some kicking drills before the bounce

A.Mac & Webster are slightly to the side with a kick to kick game for two - other than the awkwardness of her kicking style, particularly the ball drop, A.Macs kicking actually looks pretty solid when in a non pressure situation

She's got good distance on her kicks, and they look nice through the air - just needs to get more of a natural flow with the ball drop

Both these girls have made a good start, too.

This is only Annabel Johnson's 7th game, but she has already become such an important defender for us.

AMac does this regularly; absorbs the tackle and keeps her feet (and head) to find an option, often after being swung around 270 degrees.

We all know the flaws in her kicking game, but there is so much to like about the rest of her play; she is still getting better.

Parry to Darby very well worked then.

I'm starting to really warm to Parry; she can be a bit erratic but she's unpredictable and still honing her craft as a tall(ish) forward.

The ball was a foot over the boundary line, but umpire calls play on for Collingwood to go inside 50

Absolutely loving Webster's burst so far this season - gains possession and really tries to put the foot down for a few steps; been finding a bit of separation from her opponents as a consequence.

Ball movement is an issue. Skills hindering the ability to advance the football.

Morrison is a cut above

Pies keep finding spare players up-field too easily - seems like our mids are getting caught out when we don't have the ball?

That said, our defence is holding up well so far.

I've made the same argument before Willo; looks terrible but the results aren't too bad - we definitely have better kicks than McDonald, but she's ok. Her hands have really improved this year though; ball handling has always been excellent but she could be a bit sloppy with her handball in the past couple of seasons. Starting to nail those offloads.

Adapted her game considerably too.

Bel Johnson two excellent defensive moments in the one passage of play.

Prespakis and Webster combine really confidently in to run it out of defense.

We needed a bit of territorial relief, Pies have looked dangerous early in this quarter.
