I have to say, as someone who has sat through a lot of really embarrassing performances from my mob, the Pies fans are weak as piss. Leaving in their droves at 3/4 time. Fairweather supporters or what?
Geelong was/is for the most part an older team with a lot of experienced players.
Collingwood is actually pretty young.
That makes a big difference.

They probably have the worst ruck division in the league at moment, Jolly cannot jump and it's only round 3, he looks done and dusted and Wood is a complete spud and without him playing they play Dawes who is even worse with only a couple of very raw kids in reserve. Big issue and big hurdle for a contender.

Carlton are the biggest downhill skiers of all time.
It's great that they will probably finish top 4.
The Hawks and Cats need a rest game in the finals before another epic war together.

I wouldn't worry about it. Its a long season. Carlton wont figure deep into September.

Round 3 guys. We all knew it would be a slow start for the Pies. I'm not going to write them off yet
It is, and there's a lot of injury, and returning from injury worries as well but we'll see how they respond in the next 3-4 weeks.
Good chance to see what they're made of IMO.
I still think Geelong and hawthorn are ahead of us, but you gotta admit we're looking good at the moment.

Yeah they looked pretty horrible tonight, Buckley bought in too many underdone players and were playing with one man less on the bench for about a half since Reid and Ball were out, and Kreuzer dominated the rucks
