Robert E. Crimo III has been taken into custody near Lake Forest, IL, authorities said during a brief news conference just before 8 p.m. ET.
Authorities said Crimo was spotted by a North Chicago officer who attempted to initiate a traffic stop. Crimo then fled and led officers on a brief pursuit before being stopped in Lake Forest, Illinois.
He was taken into custody without incident and will be taken to the Highland Park police department.
When asked, authorities said they are still calling Crimo a “person of interest” while they investigate and connect him to the scene.

I'm thinking we need something just a little bit more organised though, like an Anti-NRA terrorist group. None of this indiscriminate shooting at your local Wallmart, that's for school kids.
I'm thinking proper, military-trained snipers to take out Ted Cruz, the NRA bigwigs, a couple of supreme court judges really been grinding my gears recently too.
Granted, my idea is a little bit radical, but, desperate times call for desperate measures.

Clearly one door is too many, if there are no doors in any buildings at all then the shooter cannot get in

In typical USA fashion, twitter is flooding with Democrat supporters saying he is a Trump GOP fanboi whilst GOP supporters are saying he is a liberal Democrats.
Bottom line, he had access to a gun and shot people. Political allegiances muddy a clear issue of access to guns.

They must ban abortion because every life is precious, they can either grow up to be a mass shooting victim or the shooter himself after a miserable childhood

Prisoners like that get put into special housing, basically separated from all the other prisoners and only allowed out for closely monitored sessions in the yard with few other people

And in typical US fashion it’s the Republicans who are mostly wrong. The shooter attended Trump rallies, wore clothing with alt right memes. His father was a conservative GOP candidate for mayor in that town.
Most gun nuts are right wing, hence most mass shooters will be Republican or right wing leaning.
Politicizing a side misses the point.

Now that is the issue - the politicians being unable to make sensible decisions either through neglect, corruption or just incompetent. Saying an active shooter is aligned with either side is a significant distraction which is my point.
Well he made several rap songs of the JFK shooter and created animation of himself portaying a mass shooting on youtube.
Clearly detached from reality somehow has access to a high powered rifle.
