If they turn up next year with this guys kicking to no advantage, Combo still not coached out off falling over and losing most contests, every **** missing tackles for fun and the team having numbers on field where they don't actually count.. well the caps have to be spent so it's all good for them I spose. He did this three times vs Carlton last year, so he can do it. Just chooses not to.

We are glacial in there. Until we add Colby and FOS there is no midfield that will care about being defensive on us. They will attack and know that they don't have to do much to close space if we win it.

In my own head I have Clarko using 2024 and 2025 as a means to expose these two, Sheeze and Wardlaw and to “learn” the game out of position, before we rotate them through the midfield permanently and unleash the beast in 2026

Pick one from Powell or LDU and replace the other with a defensively sound, defensively running role-player and I swear our win-loss will improve dramatically.
