Thing about recognising young players is its about what they've achieved unexpectedly.

Guys at 22 can have played 75 games. Seems some (Wines, Grundy) are already being selected on reputation and not their actual season.

All in all, pretty naff concept.

Hard to argue with most of it. Interesting the young forwards out gun the young defenders. Can't argue at all about the starting midfield and the flankers.

You can argue all day about the bench spots.

Fan voting should give an advantage for players from the big clubs but lots of GWS and GC players in there. I reckon fans are more keen to put them in than a guy from a team they hate. That said they all deserve it.
