2009 may have been a better game but, as a neutral, 2018 is going to be really hard to beat.

I thought 2008 was the best "run away with the game" victory, since it's probably the biggest upset in a grand final. 42 wins out of 44 games Geelong had coming into that game and would end up losing. Not even 1998 Adelaide or 2016 Bulldogs had such a opponent.

1998 and 2008 were the same thing, where a team totally threw away a premiership by horrible kicking for goal and the opposing team, knew they had the most amazing opportunity you will ever get and seized it.

Although, 1998 North Melbourne were a far more inferior side with a 16-6 record compared to 2008 Geelong's 21-1 record and 42-2 out of their past 44 games.
